Overview
The Math Department offers a full range of courses for all students, from those needing extra support to those who are budding mathematicians. Advanced Placement courses include AB and BC Calculus, Computer Science, and Statistics. Our students routinely perform above the national percentage placement.Our DaVinci Math Research Program has served as a model for schools all around the country.
Mathematics Department Goals
1. To increase student understanding of lessons by differentiating through content, process, and product
2. To use both qualitative and quantitative data on a regular basis to evaluate student understanding
3. To meet as inquiry teams and grade teams on a regular basis in order to share best practices that work in increasing student success in our lowest performing subgroups
